HOW I DISCOVERED THE BENEFITS
The concern for our food is no laughing matter. Synthetics cannot replace the real thing! Because some companies want to mass produce their products in greater and greater quantities, sometimes chemicals take the place of real food substance. Many foods are loaded with preservatives and are irridated for longer shelf life.
How can you compete in life or even take care of the demands in your world if you are not in the best health you could be in?
Have you ever noticed how the most beautiful fruit can be tasteless? Do you find yourself eating a meal only to feel hungry again in just a short amount of time? It may be because your body is craving the nutrients it really needs!
I used to not worry about such things, thinking that others would worry about it for me. But as a cancer survivor now, after a ten pound tumor was removed from my body, my health and food intake has become very important to me!
I always tried to eat what was good but I splurged on the junk foods and diet colas too. After having cancer surgery, I realized then that I wanted to cater to my body cells for optimum health and function.
I suddenly got very serious. I have a strong faith in God, but I was not ready to pass on yet! There are still things I want to do. Doing what I can for good health and nutrition makes really good sense!
People gave me advice for years that I did not want to take. I felt like I needed to go back to college just to understand what they were talking about. I needed something simple that made sense. When my health was compromised, I was not in the frame of mind then to take on rocket science. But I remembered how well a friend of mine did when she got serious about changing her diet towards nutrition. I saw a dramatic difference for her as she favored the living greens and living foods. So I knew I wanted to get some of that too!
Others gave me good products and good advice on a lot of things, but when I came across The Feast, I knew that this was going to be a great help to me. The Feast is a nutrient dense product in a powder form. It's so easy to use on a daily basis!
I also knew that I was going to keep up with the barley formula and discovered that many berries are rich in the natural anti-oxidents that we need to promote healthy cells that function they way they should. When I discovered all this is available in the URI products, it made my life so much simpler. When I get busy and on the go, it's difficult to eat the perfect meals all time. These products can supplement what I have a challenge at times to find to eat! And it's so simple to carry with you when you are traveling.
My personal formula is a mix of one scoop each of The Feast, the Beyond Berries, the Sweet Careet and the Pure Barley. I like to mix it with a little yogurt and natural fruit juice or make a smoothie or shake or protien drink with it. Some drink it with just water. You will discover what works for you. I really like my scoop of The Feast sprinkled over my whole grain cereal.
I have looked and I do not know of any better formula that has the variety, quality and quantity of fruits and vegetables. Check the labels! I would have to shop everyday to get and prepare the equivalent of this, and frankly, I just don't have the time! Not only that, it's hard to keep fresh.
